SetToFly helps pilots estimate safe-to-fly wait times after taking OTC medication. It's a reference aid, not a medical or regulatory authority — always confirm against current FAA guidance and your Aviation Medical Examiner (AME).
Common questions
An ingredient's classification or wait time looks wrong. What do I do?
Please report it — this matters. Include the medication name, the active ingredient in question, and (if you have it) the FDA/label source you're comparing against. Email support@settofly.com.
Why does the app say a wait is "unverified"?
Ingredients synced from the public openFDA directory that aren't in SetToFly's
hand-curated set are classified by a conservative keyword heuristic, not a clinical or
FAA-reviewed review. Anything flagged unverified is a starting point
pending human review — treat it accordingly, and lean on your AME for anything
borderline.
Does SetToFly work without a connection?
Yes. The app ships with a bundled, curated ingredient/product database and works fully offline from first launch. A connection only widens barcode/product coverage.
Do you store my dose history?
Only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
