Privacy Policy

SetToFly is a pilot medication-wait-time reference app. This page describes what the app and its companion Cloudflare service do — and don't do — with your data.

Your dose logs never leave your device

Every dose you log, and every wait-time calculation the app shows you, is stored only in the app's local on-device database. Nothing about what you've taken, when, or why is ever transmitted anywhere — not to this website, not to any server.

What the sync service actually does

SetToFly ships with a bundled, curated ingredient/product database and works fully offline from first launch. When you have a connection, the app can optionally sync against a Cloudflare service that proxies and caches public drug-label data from the FDA's openFDA NDC Directory (api.fda.gov), purely to widen barcode/product coverage. Sync requests contain only a free-text search query, a result limit, and a shared key identifying the request as coming from the SetToFly app — no user identifiers, no device IDs, no dose data.

No accounts, no PHI

SetToFly has no user accounts, no login, and no server-side user profile. Nothing we run collects, stores, or processes any protected health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII) about app users.

Subscription and purchase data

SetToFly requires a paid annual subscription, handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see or store your payment details. The app only receives a local purchase confirmation from StoreKit/Play Billing to unlock itself — that confirmation is not sent to any SetToFly server. Manage or cancel your subscription, and view billing history, through your Apple ID or Google account settings.

Caching

Normalized openFDA responses are cached at Cloudflare's edge and in Cloudflare KV for a limited time, purely to reduce load on openFDA's public API. Cached entries are keyed only by search query and result limit, not by user or device.
